The Seminar for Local Atmospheric Research (SCALAR) originated to give graduate students a place to present their work without pressure. Expanding on this principle, the SCALAR conference aims to create a space where regional networking, collaboration, and presentation can occur in an environment focused on student success and professional development at all higher education levels.
